Traditional Shaker style gets a sleek modern edge with Quarterline, our latest design collaboration with Sarah Sherman Samuel. It's easy to see why DIY Quarterline is one of our most popular and enduring door options. As a fully unfinished, do-it-yourself option, there really is no limit to the color, texture and style; perfect for the hardcore DIYer, you handle the paint, lacquer or conversion varnish (and maybe even save a little money in the process)! DIY Quarterline fronts are 3/4" thick (Ikea's are typically 5/8").
*Please note: Flip-Up doors come un-drilled and users will have to drill their own holes for installation.
We met Sarah in 2013 when she was remodeling her Venice bungalow. We made the cabinet doors. Sarah painted them, installed the cabinets, styled the room, and shot the photos. That kitchen, a mix of cool colors and earthy metals, blew up everywhere.
Today, Sarah owns her multi-disciplinary interior design studio focused on the intersection of interiors, architecture, art, and product development.

When installing, Semihandmade base, tall and wall panels are made to run straight to the floor and slightly past or "proud" of the door/drawer fronts for a more custom, built-in look (see the Installation Manual for more details).
