A Designer’s Tranquil DIY Shaker Kitchen
For interior designer Hope Clark, moving from Southern California to Oregon provided the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature, enjoy a slower pace of life, and build the kitchen of her dreams. The home, which once featured outdated wooden cabinetry, dark countertops, and little natural light, was gut renovated and fully customized with IKEA Sektion bases and Semihandmade DIY Shaker fronts painted in Ammonite from Farrow + Ball. Marble countertops, wall-to-wall Cle tile, and brass pulls and knobs from Rejuvenation complete the neutral, textured remodel.
