Have a Semihandmade Expert build out your cart for you.

Dress your Ikea Sektion system with Semihandmade panels and trim to match your cabinet fronts—and get a sleek (and semi-custom) look.

  • All panels are made Slab-style
  • All panels are 3/4" thick (Ikea's are typically 5/8")

We met Sarah in 2013 when she was remodeling her Venice bungalow. We made the cabinet doors. Sarah painted them, installed the cabinets, styled the room, and shot the photos. That kitchen, a mix of cool colors and earthy metals, blew up everywhere.

Today, Sarah owns her multi-disciplinary interior design studio focused on the intersection of interiors, architecture, art, and product development.

In Semihandmade x Sarah Sherman Samuel, our first exclusive designer cabinet door line, Sarah created our Beaded and Quarterline styles, elevated timeless classics for the modern kitchen.

When installing, Semihandmade base, tall and wall panels are made to run straight to the floor and slightly past or "proud" of the door/drawer fronts for a more custom, built-in look (see the Installation Manual for more details).

Semihandmade DIY collection comes with a two year warranty on any manufacturer-related issues.

  1. Order Semihandmade samples (highly recommended to see shade and grain before buying)
  2. Browse real Semihandmade past projects
  3. Place your panels/trim order with us and your Sektion order (without facing) with IKEA
  4. All sales are final
"Seeing my doors in other kitchens is the best feeling. I can only design so many kitchens myself, but with my doors, I can be a small part of so many more projects and help even more people feel at home in their home. That’s what I think interior design is all about."
- Sarah Sherman Samuel
